About The Mountain Hollers

The Mountain Hollers are the newest show at the Little Opry Theatre inside Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex: a family band with roots deep in the Ozarks and a simple mission, to make music together to the glory of God. Josh Hall leads on guitar after nearly two decades leading worship at his church. His wife Hannah, a bestselling Christian children's book author, picked up a ukulele during lockdown and now plays guitar and banjo with a fondness for June Carter. Daughter Edy, 17, sings, plays piano, and brings her great-grandfather's long-lost fiddle back to life, and Hattie, 15, pairs a sweet soprano with a rock-solid bass guitar. The show is an uplifting blend of country, bluegrass, folk, gospel, and original songs, all live with no tracks, wrapped in funny stories from their journey from a Northwest Arkansas farm to the Branson stage. Worship Wednesdays are a hymns and gospel edition, and the Mountain Hollers Christmas runs November and December.

More About The Mountain Hollers

The Little Opry's Newest Family Band

The Mountain Hollers are the newest show at the Little Opry Theatre, and they fit the room perfectly. This is a family of four making music together, with roots deep in the Ozarks and a stated mission to make that music to the glory of God. Josh Hall leads on guitar after nearly two decades leading worship at his church, Hannah plays guitar, banjo, and ukulele, and their daughters Edy and Hattie handle fiddle, piano, bass, and a big share of the singing.

Among Branson shows, this is the one for people who like their music honest and close up. The Little Opry seats about 210, so you can see the fiddle bow move and hear the harmonies without a wall of speakers in between. Mountain Hollers Branson tickets for 2026 are on the calendar above, with Monday and Wednesday matinees and a Thursday evening show.

Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, and a Great Story

The music is an uplifting blend of country, bluegrass, folk, and gospel, with original songs mixed in. Everything is live, with no backing tracks and no lip sync. Hannah channels a little June Carter, Edy plays a fiddle that belonged to her great-grandfather and was lost for years, and Hattie pairs a sweet soprano with a rock-solid bass groove. The blend of four family voices is the heart of the show.

Between songs the Halls tell the story of how they got here: farmers' markets, churches, and retirement homes, a move to Colorado, and the decision to settle in Branson and do this full time. It is funny and it is genuine. The Worship Wednesday matinee turns the whole show toward hymns and gospel classics, and the Christmas edition in November and December adds carols and holiday favorites.

Visiting the Little Opry Theatre

The Mountain Hollers play at the Little Opry Theatre, 3562 Shepherd of the Hills Expy, Branson, MO 65616, inside Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex. The 2026 season runs March through December 30. Regular shows are Monday at 2:00 PM and Thursday at 8:00 PM, with the Worship Wednesday matinee at 2:00 PM through October 28. The band is dark June 1 to 7, June 15 to 21, and August 16 to 30, plus a few single dates listed on the calendar.

Plan on about two hours with an intermission. The complex has free parking, McFarlain's restaurant, and gift shops, so a 2:00 PM show pairs naturally with lunch beforehand and an evening show elsewhere in town. Arriving 20 to 30 minutes early is plenty for a theater this size.

A Show for Families, and Why Book Here

This is the show for families with kids, for church groups, for bluegrass and gospel fans, and for anyone who wants a relaxed afternoon with real musicians in a small room. Children 2 to 12 are $13.60 and children under 2 are free, so it is one of the most affordable family outings in Branson.

Book The Mountain Hollers through Get Branson Tickets and your total never tops the box office rate, with no booking fees, tickets by email, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before showtime. Choose a date on the calendar above, or call (417) 243-9629 and we will help you pair it with the rest of your Branson plans.
