Coffee & Sweets

Local roasters, bakeries, and cafes to start your Branson morning right.

Table Rock Coffee Roasters

$

76 Strip

A veteran-owned small-batch roastery that grew from Hollister into three locations, and the Branson shop on the Strip is the handiest one when you're between shows. The beans are roasted right here in the Ozarks, and the menu leans local with drinks like the Missouri Mud and the Ozark Trail.

Insider tip: Order the Missouri Mud, then grab a bag of their single-origin beans to take home. The baked goods come from Sugar Leaf, another local favorite, so you're supporting two Branson businesses in one stop.

Expresso

$

76 Strip

A drive-thru built out of repurposed shipping containers right on the Strip near Wild World, and it has taken Best Coffee Shop in Branson honors five years running. The signature drinks are pure Branson: the Spirit of 76 Mocha and a rotating cast of All-Star Lattes named for the town's entertainers.

Insider tip: It closes at 5pm and is closed Sundays, so make it your morning stop, not your after-show one. On Thursdays they open at 8am instead of 7.

Sugar Leaf Bakery, Cafe & Espresso

$

Grand Village Shops, 76 Strip

This spot started as a wholesale cookie company more than twenty years ago and slowly grew into a full cafe inside the Grand Village Shops. They pull espresso with locally roasted beans and make their own vanilla syrup in house, which you can taste in every latte.

Insider tip: Do not leave without a cookie or a slice of something from the bakery case. Pair it with a latte made with their house vanilla syrup, then walk the Grand Village courtyards while you sip.

The Pie Safe

$

Downtown Branson

A little Victorian-styled bakery on Commercial Street where the coffee comes with a serious decision: which homemade pie goes with it. Locals rave about the strawberry rhubarb and the German chocolate cake, and the whole place feels like your grandmother's kitchen in the best way.

Insider tip: Popular pies sell out by afternoon, so come before 2pm if you have your heart set on a specific slice. Open 10am to 6pm, closed Sundays.

Storeroom Coffee + Wine

$$

Hwy 165, at The Ozarker Lodge

The lobby cafe at The Ozarker Lodge, styled like a 1950s national park storeroom, pours coffee from Kingdom Coffee in the morning and shifts to wine, beer, and cocktails at night. It is open 6am to midnight daily, which makes it one of the only true late-night coffee options in town.

Insider tip: You do not need to be a hotel guest to hang out here. Order the S'mores latte, it comes topped with a toasted marshmallow, and take it out to the firepits by Roark Creek.

Vintage Paris Coffee & Wine Cafe

$$

Hollister, Historic Hwy 165

Ten minutes south of the Strip, this Hollister institution has been roasting its own beans since 2009 and doubles as a wine and cigar lounge with local art on the walls. It sits across from the scenic overlook, and the young local crowd treats it like a living room.

Insider tip: It stays open until 11pm Monday through Saturday, so this is your after-show coffee spot when everything else in Branson is dark. Closed Sundays, and ask for whatever they roasted that week.

Mochas and Meows

$

Branson Hills, Falls Parkway

Branson's first permanent cat cafe pairs espresso drinks, boba teas, and real fruit smoothies with a 2,000 square foot lounge full of adoptable cats from the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society. The coffee shop and the cat lounge are separate rooms, so you can just get a drink if fur is not your thing.

Insider tip: Walk-ins are welcome, but reserve a cat lounge slot online if you're set on cuddle time. Try a Purrnini, their sandwich-quesadilla hybrid on a 12 inch tortilla. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 9am to 6pm.
