A mile and a half of open-air shopping right on Lake Taneycomo, with more than 100 stores running the range from Bass Pro Shops and Belk to small local boutiques. The brick boardwalk, the lake breeze, and the $7.5 million fire and water fountain show make it as much an evening stroll as a shopping trip.
Insider tip: The fountain show, built by the same designers behind the Bellagio fountains, runs at the top of the hour from midday into the evening. Grab a boardwalk bench near Bass Pro a few minutes early for the best view.

$Historic Downtown Branson
A real, working dime store that has anchored Main Street for over 60 years, packed floor to ceiling with more than 50,000 items: cast iron skillets, penny candy, model kits, fabric, toys you have not seen since childhood. Locals bring out-of-town guests here first, and nobody leaves empty handed.
Insider tip: It closes on Sundays, so plan your downtown day accordingly. Give yourself a full hour and do not skip the back aisles, where the vintage toys and glass-bottle sodas live.

The Grand Village Shops

A brick-courtyard village of 27 specialty shops on the Strip, home to one of the largest Christmas stores in the Midwest plus soap makers, toy sellers, and a bakery tea room. It picked up Best of Branson honors in 2024 and Best of SWMO in 2025, and it earns them.
Insider tip: Break up your browsing with lunch at Mel's Hard Luck Diner inside the village, where the servers are professional vocalists who sing between tables.

Tanger Outlets Branson

Branson's big name-brand outlet center, with over 120 stores including American Eagle, Carter's, and most of the labels you would drive to a city for, all at outlet prices. It is the practical stop on a Branson trip: real deals on clothes and shoes before you head back to the shows.
Insider tip: Stop at the management office or sign up for TangerClub online before you shop, the coupon book pays for itself in one or two stores. Weekday mornings are the quietest.

Historic Downtown Branson
$Historic Downtown Branson
The original Branson, dating to the late 1800s, with more than 40 locally owned shops along wide brick sidewalks: boutiques, galleries, flea markets, and old storefronts that skip the chain-store feel entirely. This is where you shop the way people did before the Strip existed.
Insider tip: Ride Sparky, the free downtown trolley, which loops between the historic district and Branson Landing so you can shop both without moving your car.

Apple Tree Mall

One of Branson's oldest craft and antique malls, celebrating 35 years in 2026, with over 400 booths of antiques, collectibles, handmade crafts, and homemade jams from area vendors. It is the kind of place where an hour disappears and you walk out with something you did not know you were looking for.
Insider tip: It is open daily and shares a big parking lot with Applebee's and the God and Country Theatre, so it pairs well with a show night. The deepest booths are in the back, work your way there.

Main Street Flea Market
$Historic Downtown Branson
Downtown's go-to flea market, a short walk from Branson Landing, with booth after booth of vintage finds, Ozarks oddities, and honest secondhand treasure. With Cadwell's around the corner now closed, this is the downtown flea market, and the vendors keep it well stocked.
Insider tip: Come Saturday morning when the inventory is freshest and vendors have just restocked their booths.

The Fudgery

Fudge as a show: the makers sing, joke, and call out to the crowd while paddling fresh batches on marble slabs, a tradition this company has kept up since 1980. Twelve flavors of fudge plus caramel apples, turtles, and New Orleans style pralines, with a second location at Tanger Outlets.
Insider tip: Time your visit to catch a batch being made, the singing and slab work happen throughout the day and the fudge is warmest right after.

Branson Craft Mall
$Hwy 165
A 16,000 square foot indoor craft mall on the quieter Highway 165 side of town, with more than 200 vendors, artists, and crafters selling quilts, leather goods, baskets, jewelry, and homemade edibles like jams and apple butter. It is climate controlled, easy to park at, and full of things actually made by hands in the Ozarks.
Insider tip: It sits on the scenic route toward Table Rock Dam, so fold it into a lake day. Go hungry: the edibles section with fudge, jams, and apple butter is worth the drive alone.
